Eep, I only have an hour left of 1/1/11, and I wanted to make a post today.
I've been pretty busy since a bit before Christmas (with holiday preparations, celebrations, skiing, and other such things), but I don't have the time to try to make a life laundry list somewhat entertaining at the moment, so here, I'll just post the resolutions I made for this year.
RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011:
I've been pretty busy since a bit before Christmas (with holiday preparations, celebrations, skiing, and other such things), but I don't have the time to try to make a life laundry list somewhat entertaining at the moment, so here, I'll just post the resolutions I made for this year.
RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011:
- Make an awesome vegan cheesecake. [I've had this resolution many times now and have not once made an attempt. Maybe this will be the year?]
- Knit a pair of socks. [I've only made hats and scarves before]
- Learn the song "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes" in another language. [I currently know it in English, Spanish, Japanese, and French]
- Do some public artsy thing. [Intentionally vague, but I have some ideas]
- Finish Galois packet. [A math subject TA Boy is teaching me]
- Finish watching Battlestar Galactica. [I'm in the last season, it's just taking forever for some reason]
- Get into some sort of exercise routine. [Self explanatory]
- Get comfortable singing in a microphone. [I have no problem singing in front of people in general, but I always get thrown off by the sound of my voice through a speaker]
- Solve a Rubik's Cube. [Thanks to TA Boy, I'm much better than I used to be, but I still can't get the last layer]
