*attempts to get back into the habit of posting*
It was gorgeous outside today. I took a nice walk with my mom, and then went to hang out with murgatrude, who I have been friends with since middle school and is currently my roommate at school. She's leaving on Sunday for two months (to travel & do study abroad in Ireland), and my room will be all sad and empty without her. Who will I geek out with (in person) about stupid things while she's gone?? D: We watched a few random episodes of Psych, which is a show that's been on my "to watch" list for a while, and it was really entertaining! I should get around to actually watching it at some point in the nearish future.
Okay, reverting to list form due to laziness:
1. Thin Ice was kind of silly, but fun. I agree that Shizuka Arakawa & Stephane Lambiel were not as pairsy as...pretty much everyone else, but I was entertained nonetheless, and Stephane's spin was predictably wow-worthy. Nghhhh, spins. They make me swoon. I may have voted for them with 5 email accounts. Shhh.
2. My new favorite word to say is "glucose". It just feels good in my mouth.
3. I've been very slowly rewatching Queer as Folk, and gosh I love that show. I've seen seasons 1 through 3 many times (because they're my favorites and also I didn't own the other two until somewhat recently), but they still fill me with warm, gooey happiness. Unfortunately, I was mostly unaware of fandom when I was super into the show (as it was the first I ever watched on DVD), so I've barely read any fic. People who were/are in the fandom - care to rec me anything? What's your favorite QaF story? I've only read maybe 3 or 4 fics in that fandom, so chances are I haven't read it.
4. I might go see The Runaways tomorrow. I am intrigued by the trailers.
I think I'll stop at 4, since it's my favorite number.
