Sometimes I write "soup" all over my notes for no reason
I'm currently curled up with murgatrude listening to Adam Lambert's new album (♥), and in a few hours we're going to the airport to pick up pressdbtwnpages! So, ignoring tonight's homework that promises to be difficult, life is pretty good.
Unfortunately, life is also being pesky and keeping me from my usual internet habits. Once again I apologize for being such a crappy LJ friend right now - I totally understand if you want to defriend me. In fact, let's just declare this an official Defriending Amnesty Day. I just don't have much of interest to say lately, and my crazy homework this quarter makes it harder to keep up with my flist in the way that I like to. Oh RL, why must you interfere with my internet tiems? *pout*
So, quick post, but a few things I should mention:
-Last Friday I saw The Used! I'd only seen them play an acoustic set before, so this was quite different and lots of fun. The pit was kind of horrible, though, which did taint the experience a little bit. And I usually love pits, so. :/ At the end of the set, WiL Francis from Aiden came on stage to sing with Bert, which was pretty cool.
-I'm now through 1x11 of Battlestar Galactica, and WOW IT IS REALLY GOOD. I kind of love all the characters, but randomly am really attached to Gaius at the moment. He is such a basketcase! For some reason that is endearing!
-Last night I had a 3-ish hour conversation with murgatrude that basically amounted to "Shane from the L Word is really hot". Trufax. The final season just came in at the library, so I shall watch it soon. I've heard it's not-so-great, but I can definitely sit through not-so-great when there is a Shane involved.
-I am being especially faily at this, but HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAYS to fleurdeliser, magicalvamp & valerie_z! *throws confetti* ♥
-Um, that's it? I GET A pressdbtwnpages SOOOOOOOOOOOOON! \o/
