Hola, mi lista de amigos!

Hello!

I haven't been around these parts in a little bit due to death by homework and being surprisingly social (for me) in the last week plus.

Finally I am done with all the hard stuff for this school year. All that's left is writing a self evaluation for the quarter, watching some other student's presentations and a last meeting with my teacher next week. \o/

Mostly I just wanted to check in to say not dead and that I should be around more now. I've only been occasionally skimming my flist for the last week-ish and I doubt I'll do a full read through, so please link me to anything you want me to see or tell me how you've been. :)

Things of note:

• Saw the Johnny Weir documentary, which was excellent. Just look at this screen cap of fabulousness for a taste of the awesome. &him;
• Celebrated three different friends' birthdays in the span of a week. (Happy belated birthday, murgatrude!)
• Saw Taking Back Sunday!!!!! Somehow ended up on barrier and it was AMAZING. Adam Lazzara hung from the scaffolding and sang upside down. :DDDD
• Walked in a health care march. Yay health care!
• Went to my favorite improv show twice.
• Started watching S5 of The L Word today. Unsurprisingly, I am still super attracted to Shane.

And (this deserves its own paragraph, sadly) got even more obsessed with Adam Lambert. I don't even know, you guys. I'm not even that attracted to him a lot of the time, I just love his everything. It feels really weird being invested in an American Idol contestant, let me tell you. I actively dislike that show, generally. :/ I even had a temporary moment of insanity in which I considered buying a ticket to the AI tour, but then I realized that a) it's super expensive, b) I'd probably have a really crappy seat, c) I would be so embarrassed to go that that show, d) it's bad timing for me, and e) I don't like American Idol* and would probably end up being annoyed the majority of the time. I'd only mostly be going for one contestant (okay I'd also like to see Kris and Allison), and that's just silly. If I ever spend money on a stupid reality show tour, it should really be for So You Think You Can Dance. /ramble

*Totally, totally not judging people who like the show or go to Idol tours, it's just not my thing. Except for how I still sort of want to go.
