Huh?
I have no idea what's up with me. I'm usually pretty monofannish, maybe reading the occasional fic outside of my fandom or having a month long fling with some other show or pairing and then returning to my main thing. But in the last couple months? I've read fic in Bandom, Merlin, Merlin RPS, The Mighty Boosh, British comedian RPS, Supernatural, CWRPS, Sorority Boys (ahaha), My So-Called Life, and I've spent the last few days reading tons of The O.C. fic, of all things (Seth/Ryan, because I am predictable).
It's actually sort of freeing to be reading a variety of things at once, since I've never really done that before. So hey! If anyone wants to rec me something outside of my usual fandoms (or even in my usual fandoms), that'd be cool. I'm willing to try anything that I'm familiar with (a list of shows I've watched is here, and I think I have some movies/books/bands/etc listed in my profile). What's your favorite fic in any fandom? I wanna know! I'm having fun exploring new things.
Er, so back to The O.C... I read one fic accidentally the other day (I was searching for something else entirely, happened to stumble upon a Seth/Ryan story and thought, why not?), and I'm, like, completely in love now and I want to draw stupid hearts all over Seth and Ryan (okay, and Summer, too). I watched all of the show last summer, but I was never fannish about it, so I have no clue how this happened. Last night I even went and saved a bunch of cast pictures and uploaded an icon, and seriously, what the hell?
And now I have to post some of said cast pictures, because they are adorable and that's how I roll.
I didn't feel like organizing/re-naming these, so they're in kind of a random order. Oh well!

...yeah, by "cast pictures", I mainly meant Adam, Rachel and Ben. Because, yeah.
I find this picture stupidly attractive for some reason. Is it the fake farm boy thing? How his eyes match his pants? Or maybe the ridiculous "people compliment me on my height" quote? :D!
Okay, I just included this because I enjoy Ben describing himself as "the hot girl at the bar".

For the record, I'm really, really not leaving bandom; I just feel like branching out a little after reading mostly in one fandom for two-plus years.
