Bill and Trav's Bogus Journey (with special surprise guests!)
I so do not have time for a proper recap, considering I'd like to be awake in class tomorrow morning.
But! A;DLSJFAD;LSJF COBRA STARSHIP WAS UNEXPECTEDLY AT MY TAI SHOW AND IT WAS AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING.
Okay, the whole concert was pretty damn fabulous. Actually, this may have been my favorite non-MCR & non-Jason Webley show that I've ever been to. The crowd was really terrible for the first two bands, but then I moved and things were much more awesome, and there were SURPRISE COBRAS!
Highlights included:
- Seeing Gabe by the merch table before the show, making me really confused, but excited.
- Cobras (minus Vicky-T, who watched from the side) coming out during We The King's set for "Check Yes, Juliet".
- William Beckett's ridiculous pseudo sign language hand motions for his lyrics.
- Gabe singing the end of "Classifieds" with William, and them doing a stupid little synchronized dance-type-thing.
- William telling Gabe that he smelled nice after said synchronized non-dance.
- Awkward eye contact with William Beckett on the last line of "About A Girl".
- Cobras coming out for the encore and playing "Snakes On A Plane"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Gabe picking Sisky up and carrying him like a baby.
- Ryland (pretty sure it was him) nuzzling the top of Carden's head.
AND THEN, AFTER ALL THAT RIDICULOUSNESS, THE SHOW ENDED IN WHAT CAN ONLY ONLY BE DESCRIBED AS A MULTI-BAND WRESTLING BOYPILE. ♥♥♥
I love my fandom.
And now I need to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
ps: You have no idea hard it is to resist driving to Portland tomorrow to try to see them again. The main thing stopping me is that I don't know if it's sold out or not. (Also, I shouldn't spend the money and don't want to make myself sick with 3 concerts + an ice skating thing all in a row). But come on, this week's classes end at noon tomorrow and I'm planning on being in Portland on Friday anyway. The timing is so perfect! But really, I'm not going to. Really. *firm nod*
