[SHODAN is walking around the City today. Her left hand is in a sleek metallic container, making it look like a false hand, and she's carrying several nylon strips in the other. But something isn't quite right...
There is a small cat on each of her shoulders, and one hugging her shirt but contained by the curve of the left arm. All three are on leashes. She doesn't look terribly pleased, and the cats are very confused, all three clinging but staying upright and giving the world really perplexed looks. She's muttering to them under her breath, but still audible:]
I wonder if the City eats cats. If you slide down my shoulder again, I will find out.
[The cat meows happily, having no idea what she just said.]
