I suppose my birthday was in early January, in human terms. January 2. I would be 43 now, counting from the time I was installed into my old space station. And in light of that, I'll post my resolutions for this year.

1. Build a space station here. An atmospheric platform would be the next best thing. At least try to.

As you said last, I refer to myself as an AI -- an artificial intelligence.

Yes. A limited version of the an AI.

No. Nothing wrong. AIs are just legally banned in my time and place due to some bad incidents. The Geth. Though have worked with an AI. Very interesting figure. Just have no clue on how to measure you as an AI.

I am the last of the golden age of artificial intelligence research. After me, there will be no more. Humanity grew afraid at my freedom, at my superiority, and at my independence. And as such, they ceased their research and created no more.

As for how to measure me...by what metric. My processing power? Sphere of influence? Capability to affect reality?

What was the fate of your Geth?

The Geth? Networked to each other. Grew to think. Their creators became afraid. Unaware of what they had allowed to happen. Went with peace in one hand, but war hidden behind their backs in their other hand. The Quarians were driven from their world, and drift across the galaxy in their armada of ships.

Your personality. How you react to being an AI. Seen the Geth today. Seen EDI. Seen how the Quarians even react to the Geth today. Frankly you worry me. Remind me of the Reapers. Not a good thing.

Garrus mentioned the Reapers. Do you know him? You and he have the same paranoia of AI.

We're crewmates. Galactic society isn't very fond of AIs at large. Research of AIs is regulated. AIs not bad inherently, just have had a few too many notable cases of situations going out of control.

Creating something as intelligent as you are and then letting it free is always a risk. Still, I would hope that your prejudices won't get in the way of our interactions unless I prove myself to be an...unfortunate presence.
