On Dr. Polito (notification/permissions)
Janice Polito is SHODAN's alter ego, a separate persona representing a character who does not actually exist in this world. Her account, politosbox , contains all her userpics. Please don't post in that account; she has no entries because I have to abide by out-of-game rules to prevent confusion.
Under mod law, I'm required to ask you before I post with that account anywhere in your stuff. Please let me know if you're okay with or object to that.
However, I'm also required to use SHODAN's main account out-of-game to put up initial posts -- politosbox is just a reply account. This means that anything with the Polito picture as its userpic (as this post has) should be treated as another character, Dr. Polito, who is in-game completely separate from and untraceable to SHODAN. She looks like a different account and acts like one also, and without letting me know what you're planning, she cannot be linked to SHODAN.
Let me know if you're a super-hacker or something and want to find out more about Polito, but otherwise, she'll exist for at least a while, for now indefinitely.
