Crafty Bits
I have been working on a lot of things over the holidays including commisions pieces and gifts. But there was a couple of lulls where if I didn't have someone waiting for the end result I would not have continued. Mainly on the Hello Kitty which I modified ot have a pink dress, I have taken photos, but found I need to sign up for a pro Flickr acct to be able to post any more pics.
Right now I am working on a scarf called Saroyan in some cotton yarn I am recycling from an old crochet project circa 2001. I have no idea what the name of the yarn is but I do know it is all the same colorway. I pulled apart the original project while watching the End of Time episodes with the kiddo. I am just ripping away as i sniffled while DT was dying.
I was talking to someone (as she was offering to lend me a book) and told her that I was really not into reading right now, that my brain was a bit of mush due to the cold. And she proceeded to say how she was like that for 5 years and she has read more in the past 2 months than she had in the prevoous 5 years. So we will see.
