You know how when your home is cluttered you feel as though your life is cluttered. That is where I was at the past few days. My desk has been a mountain of STUFF.
Let me back up a litttle. Some of the stuff was items that enedd to get sorted, find their home, get put back on the shelves. I had been working from small sheets from the engineer so I was able to work with the lcutter but I had a roll of prints i needed to have been working from since alst week and it just wasn't working for me. this mornig I took the 45 minutes to find the things their homes, recycled a few items and tossed a bunch more. It wasa almost like one of those TV shows where they sort out your stuff and it looks brand new. Well not brand new in the sense taht we didn't get to paint, but you know what i mean.
I have a stack of papers in my bills sectio nthat I need to do a better sort through, get them into their files and toss after they are paid. I know so far all is paid jsut the car payment when I get paid this week and two utilities for the end of the month. We have a trip to Vegas next weekend. I have only been there once. It was for a friends wedding, while the kiddo was a baby - stoller and all. My family would not watch her for me to leave for two days. So my experience was a rather unpleasant one. Plus the guy I was dating, well that was the weekend he realised he wanted to be numero uno in his sig others life. About two months later we were broken up. The couple married in Feb. we were done by April.
I think abotu this cuz he sent a friend request on Facebook. I am still friends with is sister, who is the one taht told em I should join. I am truly surprised at how many people I have found on that site. I need to update there a bit more. Ehh eventually.

I have been a bit overwhelmed with the new job. Not the job itself but working my life around the new 5 day schedule. I really was able ot work the 3 tens a whole lot better than the 5 six and a halfs. Yeah, I work full time, 32.5 hrs a week. Now I qualify for the health care that is too expensive, but that also means I qualify for the paid time off. So I need to get some paperwork in to take care of that.

I am trying ot figure out what I am alowed to take on a plane to knit/crochet. I don't know that I will have a lot of down time while we are away, but I was thinking that this scarf with a handspun peachy-rose-red yarn from Tempe Yarn and Fiber would look gorgeous.  Be just interesting enough to work on, but not so complicated taht I would throw it at a flight attendant. Oh and not be so annoying that the hubby would toss it at someone. OK well I have procrastinated enough gotta work.
