I'm still here.
Wow! It's been four long years since I wrote in this journal. I don't even know where to begin to summarize where I've been/what I've been doing. Let's just say for the past four years, after moving out of my parent's house, my life has been 'pretty eventful'. Doesn't it always happen that way? LOL! But in all honestly, I actually forgot all about this journal. I happened to find it a couple months ago and after reading my old entries, I decided to write in it again. I'm actually thinking of creating a new one, perhaps a Mommy Blog.
No your eyes haven't deceived you. That's right, I'm a Mommy now and soon to be a Mommy of two. I have the most amazing two year old son who just fills my heart everyday with lots of love, joy, and laughter. I can't even remember how my life was without him. He's totally changed me in everyway. I thought what Joshua and I have is true love (it is, don't get it twisted lol) but it's only when you have a child you realize the true meaning of love. Unconditional, pure LOVE! Next month, Joshua and I along with our handsome little tot will be welcoming to the world our little princess. We're so excited to become a family of four.
{Here's a picture of our soon-to-be family of four taken at Central Park 7/2010}
As for Joshua and I, yes we're still together and now happily married, not everyday of course but all in all, still happy {HAHA}! We have our trials and tribulations but manage to get out of them with a stronger love and respect for each other. Which makes me believe our love for each other is stronger than anything in this world and we can rise above any obstacle that may come our way as long as we believe in each other. We didn't get to have our wedding in paradise but we're still planning on it. Maybe in the next couple of years. We still live in the Bronx, still in the same co-op we bought together 4 years ago. Of course, we didn't plan on having a family when we got our place but we're comfortable. Even tho' it's only a one bedroom, it's still big enough for the four of us and it's a place we can call our own. We plan on relocating before Christian goes to school but for now, we're just getting ourselves prepared for our little girl. There's just so much to organize.
Not really sure if "I'm back" here or if I'm going to create a new blog. I guess I just want a place to record my life as a stay at home wife/mommy along with my new found love for baking, crafting and party planning. After all, what else is there for me to do with my spare time. Anyhow, I'll keep you guys posted. Right now I must hit the hay. I have a doctor's appointment later on today and need my rest. My appointments are every week now, which means our little girl is almost here. So exciting!
Til' I blog again.
