The year has been going quite well. The weather has been acting a bit more like winter with all the snow and ice, but at least Virginia Tech is going to be a little more forgiving with the snow days. We should have had out last Friday but the Department of Engineering told us that we didn't cancel because John Edwards was visiting the campus and they didn't want to close it down. In the morning it was completely ice, and in the afternoon it was like walking through a swamp going across the drillfield. It was bad enough in the middle that water was past my ankles. Luckily I only had one class as my teachers cancelled their classes anyway since they lived up on the mountain and couldn't get to the campus. We went snowboarding that Friday night and it was quite an experience. It was okay but nothign that really thrilled or excited me, probably because I was falling down all the time since my steering wasn't exactly stellar. I have to do some circuit wiring for my class this week and thats about the only big homework I have to do. I'm hoping to find a ride back to Fredericksburg this Friday but so far no luck. Joe was going to go but since his pseudo girlfriend back in F'burg broke up with him, he feels released from the obligation and wants to wine and dine with Heather this weekend and Dan is the sheep that won't go anywhere without Joe. If I do make it home this weekend, it will be the first Valentine's Day that I'll have spent with Michelle. I really miss her and miss being with her. Only got four hours of sleep since I was up till 3 am doing homework and I had my evil 8 am Geology lab. Oops its time for my favorite class, Difficult...I mean Differential Equations.
