Regarding the Fountainhead...

"[The fountainhead] is Rand's first book to carry forth her anti-communist ideals, that individuals should think and believe independently and not allow their lives or careers to be dominated in any way by the beliefs of others.
And as Roark's [main character] designs create a rub against the acceptable styles of the day, he continually is faced with selling out to the masses.
But continually he refuses, and his career becomes one marked by his capacity to hold fast to his own intellectual and artistic innovation."

This book is about finding freedom, as Tyler would put it. [Or Chuck P.]

Roark builds and designs [as an art] for himself... Not for others. Or the opinion of others.

Architecture is the highest form of art.

Again, I suggest this book to everyone. Those who are lost. To those who are artistic and have fear that their art is always being compromised. And specially to those who watch too much "real life TV", MTV, and are way too concerned about britney spears...

oh yeah, there is sex in the book too...
