I don't post often here lately, usually sticking to Facebook nowadays, but I want to make sure I say this as often and in as many places as possible.
Inception is possibly one of the greatest movies ever made. Christopher Nolan, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Hans Zimmer may have actually come as close as possible to perfecting the craft. It's a movie that defies spoilers, expectations, and the imagination.
I don't think I've ever found a movie this... just plain GOOD.... ever. I loved Dark Knight. I adore Fifth Element. I think the original Star Wars trilogy is amazing. Gran Torino may be Clint Eastwood's finest work. The Lord of the Rings is a masterpiece. None of them are this good. None left me so utterly mindblown.
I'm not going to spend paragraphs talking about it. I don't need to, and really, the movie defies it. There is only one thing left to say:
Go. See. Inception.
PS As a bonus, I present a selection of Hans Zimmer's brilliant OST --
Time.
