RIP: Stan Winston -- Legend of Sci-Fi FX

Stan Winston passed away on Sunday evening. He brought us so many Sci-Fi movies and special effects through is collaborations with Cameron and Spielberg and so many others. He brought us Terminator and Aliens and Jurassic Park. He's only the second FX guru to get a star on the walk of fame. I grew up on his work and it helped shape my dreams, my nightmares, and the wonders of Science Fiction movie going for a generation.

You will be sorely, sorely missed.
