Just ramble post today. Well I guess we'll see what it ends up becoming.
I've got a few posts by "Somebody" and I'm very curious about who this "Somebody" can be. Anyone interested in revealing themselves? :D When you comment, please write who you are, because that is so much nicer. :P Manners peoplle, manners! ;)
Today we went to
Hova riddarvecka which was nice, nothing big though. I lacked a more medival focused sale-market and not so much "ploj" like it was today. And the program wasn't very fun either. The tournament wasn't until 18.00 and we left after 2 and a half hours (we arrived at 12.00 when it opened), so we didn't see that.
By the way, Tyra got a dress for the occasion! I started cutting out fabrics a while ago and last night I made the dress. It took in total about three hours. It went exceptionally well! Unfortunatly I discovered this morning that she couldn't get it over her head. Not good! I also know why. I had took one centimeter extra in all seems, but when I did the neck I didn't (stupidly enough) not sew with 1 centimeter but with a half! I got the time to fix it though (barely) with a ribon thingy. It still became quite nice! I don't have any good pictures of it though, perhaps one in the camera. It's made in green raw-silk and I'll try to fix a photo another day.
Hm... I don't think that fabric is washed so I wonder what will happen when it is... Well I'm pleased anyway. I'm made to sew dresses! :D At least I know how to do that!
I'm pondering on the gift that I'm suppoused to do for my
PIF.
sophiedb can't you tell me what kind of things you like a little, so that I know in what direction to work? Apart from that I'm thinking about a birthday present that I need to fix as well. Hm... There are three upcoming birthdays and I've got a long list of things that at least two of them want me to buy. :) But I probably won't be able to come on their birthdays due to work and range. :(
And next week my sister will get her new sewing machine! Yay for her! :D
Second by the way, I hate that I don't have the proper sewing language for english. I know the words in swedish but not in english, thus the hard explenations. And my spelling tonight sucks, my keyboard isn't working with me tonight.
Now I will surf on litterature for my up-coming class.
Ta ta!
