Help need lots of comments and advice. I need to get a job to last me until about December. Currently working in the local coop which has good points
+ £5 an hour
+ Nice people
+ Local so can walk down 5 minutes before I start/run when I should already be there.
+ Can have reasonably flexible hours
+ Not very difficult to work and can quite easily doss around
+ Can take a break whenever
+ Not much effort put in
However
- Boring as hell
- Same old people and don’t meet anyone new so will have no new friends
- Local so will be always in the same village
- Local people leave a lot to be desired e.g. personal hygiene, looks, teeth, Mary.
I got an application form for River Island and Sel said I could apply in Beales where she would put in a good word
+ Staff discount
+ New place and people
+ Another job on the CV
+ Not that difficult
However
- Will probably be just as boring
- Less flexibility
- Means catching the bus which will cost quite a bit
- If I miss the bus am screwed for an hour.
- Not sure of pay
- Will actually have to work quite hard.
Please help I can’t decide. Also how bad did you feel when Vanessa got evicted she hadn't even done anything.
