1. Bus ride and choir concert. As always, the bus ride was a blast. I love the people in choir with us- there's such a fantastic variety (it's so great when you stand literally arm's length from someone 20 yrs younger than you, and 30 yrs older), and there is always so much laughter and joy when we can just relax and have some social time outside of rehearsal.
The concert went as well as could be expected, considering that we really had no idea what the stage set-up would be, the acoustics of the room, etc. I personally was really happy with the result, and we had lots of raves from the music teachers in the audience afterward. Got to catch up for a bit with Tiff and Big D (funny, I think I've seen D more in the last yr than I did when we were going to college together, LOL!); was hoping to catch my old high school choir teacher Ms. Starr- I know she was at the conference- but I don't think she went to the concert. :(
The ride back was full of more laughter, lots of beer, and lots of munchies. (Cathy Taylor gets the awesome "Bus Mom" award; where the heck did she keep all that food?!?!?) It was a foggy ride all the way back, not that we noticed much in the dark; we rolled into the parking lot at about 11:45pm, right on schedule.
Went home, crashed, slept in. Feels a bit like Sunday, since yesterday was sort of a "day off", LOL!
2. This morning. Woke up to a world of frost-fuzzy trees and bright blue sky. Beautiful. The sun is out, and the frost is starting to fall off the trees; at first we thought it was snow! Anyway, it really is gorgeous. (Adam, I hope you got out and took some photos, my shutterbug of a friend!) I wish I had a decent camera, but I did snap a couple of pics with the Blackberry. I 'll post 'em in a bit, probably in Facebook.
3. Also woke up to one of my wonky-neck headaches. Yay, not. Took some Excedrin Migraine and I think I got it early enough. I think my next chiro appt is Thursday; hopefully I can muddle through until then. Geez, do I need to get adjusted every freaking week or something? This is ridiculous.
Okay. Off to get something to eat, some coffee, and catch up on Twitter. Between my three clients (Ubertwitter on Blackberry, Digsby, and TweetDeck), I should hopefully get ALL my tweets. >.
