Obviously, I should have failed the first grade

I am the only 18 year old alive who can spend 2 hours with two blocks of foam, glue, and construction paper, and wind up totally covered in glue and with two large dice that look like a 10 year threw them together in 20 minutes.

It's either deeply sad or kinda funny, and I just can't decide which.

The sad part? This is a project. For my math class.

Oh, OCC, how you make me laugh.

Coming to the end of a semester, I find that my expectations going in were pretty much dead-on. I sleepwalked through my classes, and have nothing lower than a B in any of them. Hell, in Journalism I can NOT DO the final paper and get a B. I think I need a 40 or something on it for an A. Same case in History - which, in all fairness, was an awesome class with an amazing teacher. I'm glad I took the honors class. But our lowest test is dropped, so I can either not take the final at all and get a B or get a 90% on it and get an A. I figure I'll try anyway though - 'cause hey, what's the worst that can happen? I waste an hour studying and still come out with a B in an honors class. Oh boo hoo. As far as the Journalism paper goes - this just leaves me a nice cushion in case I'm not able to get the interview I need in order to write the paper. Should I get it, I write the paper and get my easy A. Should I not, oh well. I still have a B in the class. Nothing to be too torn up about.

As for math and psych - Psych looks like I'm pretty much guarenteed a B. Granted, I don't know how I did on the paper we turned in, but I'm assuming a 90%. But with that factored in as a 90, I would need a 55% on the final to keep a B in the class, but a 100% would only bring me to an 89%. Unless, of course, I scored higher on the paper than I'm giving myself credit for. Who knows - but I think I'm safe in assuming a B. Math, however, should be an easy A.

So yes, all in all, community college has been a joke. A joke that somebody saw fit to play on me that I'm sure was hillarious to anybody that wasn't me. I, on the other hand, shall not miss anything about it.

And oh god. I've gotta be up at 9:00 tomorrow. I need to be in bed. 'Night.
