You know, since the show started, I've felt very alone on my f-list in my love for Dollhouse. Slowly but surely the fans are revealing themselves. It's awesome.
Yeah, I know... Even the communities are oddly silent. It's like we are all holding our breath, waiting for Fox to pull the rug out from under us.

The episode that revealed how she came to the Dollhouse finalized it for me.
God yes! Between that and the sexual assaults within the house! I just want to hug Sierra forever! I cheered when Mellie snapped the bastard's neck in ep 6.

Oh, and if that writing is Dollhouse related... *gathers a stock of sweets and 'inappropriate starches' to reward you with*
LOL... yes, i can see you like Topher as much as I do. :P
Um, I haven't gotten any plot bunnies for Dollhouse yet. If I do, I'll make you my beta. ;P

Right now, I am working on something very weird... a Zabby!Hollows!Ravy thing... It's slow-going since it is my first experiment with 1)Hollows and 2)a Crossover (of sorts). I have no idea where I'll post it, other than here.

But, if you have plot bunnies for Sierra that you don't plan on working, and want to throw them at me, I'll take 'em. Put 'em on the backburner, where a lot of things come to life in my warped little brain.

Settling in, btw?

>>Even the communities are oddly silent.
There's a severe lack of fanfiction for this fandom, but I haven't really noticed this. blank_dolls has been quite busy lately.

That whole attack on Mellie was just sick, but at the same time I find it fascinating how much trust they're willing to put in her programming in that case...

>>LOL... yes, i can see you like Topher as much as I do. :P
There was so much hate for Topher early on, but I guess I always just saw him as this kid who'd been raised on the Dollhouse ideology. While he seems like a bastard to us at time, but this is his reality, his culture so to speak.

Well, if it's femslash, there's always cross_my_heart. Kind quiet of late, but it's all femslash crossovers. And there also quite a few rare pairings/gen. crossover comms out there.

As to Dollhouse plot bunnies, sadly I come up short there. I think there just hasn't been quite enough story behind the characters yet that we know for sure. The closest I've come in my mind so far is something with Claire and the female dolls. She reacts so emotionally to Sierra and Echo, but we've yet to see her respond like that to any of the male dolls. We've already seen how Adele and Topher "use" the dolls for themselves, but nothing on Claire, who of all the people working in the Dollhouse, other than perhaps Boyd, seems the most emotionally attached to them.
/brain dump

But yes, I'm settling in a bit. I'm actually back to writing, though my twisted brain has been focusing on het pairings (evil Mentalist/X-Files plot bunny is still plaguing me at a whopping 75,000 words), which is all well and good, but not nearly as much fun as femslash.

I'll have to check out Blank_dolls. I may have missed them in my searches.

And since I don't usually read let alone write crossovers, I didn't know that one. ;) Thanks.

As for Topher, I think I always had a soft spot for him. Yeah, he's a jerk half the time, but he is funny as hell. The day he and Adelle sat around stoned (basically) was just classic.

I have to say, it's nice that the actress who played Michelle Lee on NCIS is now on Dollhouse as Lily. She's always a put-upon geek, eh?

Okay.... who are you pairing on Mentalist/XFiles? *Curious as all get out* I ADORE the Mentalist too. That's another one of my DVR musts.

When Dominic tried to pass Ivy off as the spy, my brain just kept yelling "They're doing that to her again??" I felt ridiculous because my friends who were there weren't really NCIS fans. But I do love seeing her again, regardless of the way Lee ended up.

This is one of those almost crack-fic pairings that I fully blame on a seriously pesky plot bunny. It started with the fact that in my head, I always saw Mulder and Scully as having a rather kinky sexual relationship going that we didn't get to see. So within that canon in my head, Scully meets Patrick Jane and draws him into all of this. It's complicated to explain without details really, but it never really comes down to a full threesome as much as the workings of an open relationship.

Wow that answer was way more complicated than it needed to be.

LOL. That's kind of funny, actually. Hopefully your friends are understanding. ;) I felt bad for Lee, in the end. I think the show's producer's love killing women on NCIS. 3/4 of the agents who have died, that I can recall at least, are women. :(

*giggles* Okay, that's funny that you saw Mulder/Scully as kinky. I just don't see that, but hey... I always wanted Scully as a lesbian. :P

Because of past, um, experiences, I don't particularly enjoy threesome fics. I have to applaud you though, because that must be hellishly hard to write.

I think I would find it hard to write Patrick Jane being drawn in by anybody considering how he's still doing all the survivor's guilt and all that. Although, I really do kind of want to see him end up with Lisben.

So many of the shows I have gotten hooked on in the last year or so seem to have absolutely no femslash potential. Which is a bummer. But, I still like rooting for the couples you wish they would allow.

You know, I always wanted Scully as a lesbian, but there was so little potential there. There really weren't enough good female characters in that show that had potential with Scully.

As to Mulder and Scully being kinky, I think it's the fact that they were constantly having these battles over trust throughout their entirely partnership. There was always a lot of push and pull there and I guess in my mind this translated to "kinky".

Threesome fics are indeed tricky. That's not really what's happening in this fic, but I've done one and I find it just very complicated and difficult, especially when you bring in more than just lust, and deal with people having relationships.

I think you're right regarding Patrick Jane's survivor guilt though. For the most part, I'm pretty sure that's why there's so little smut out there written about him. Most of the fics that do ship him stay pretty tame and focus far more on the angst (and rightly so). Jane/Lisbon is interesting, but tricky in my mind because they both are their own special kind of cocky.

I've definitely had a lot of trouble finding femslash pairings that are really "there" in TV lately. I mean the fact that I keep finding myself drawn into het pairings is proof alone that I'm just not feeling it, at least in the shows I watch regularly.
