Good News!!!
SO, I caught the 640 Keystone train, to Philli this morning, then the 645 keystone to NYC! Walked out of Penn Station, and attempted to find 26th Ave between 6th and 7th;Chelsea Studios... I went the wrong way of course! My first time in the city, and I go east instead of west GRRR... I had time so I didnt panic, I finially came across, something that looked fimiliar and then ended upon 153 Chelsea Studios! Went to the 6th floor, and to my surpise I was the 4th person to show up... Stretched my ass till I couldnt anymore and waited for the call back to begin. Bob Klein came and asked the 23 men to come and dance for the second time. We went over the combonation, a couple changes but nothing major. Then split into groups of 3 and did the dance for Ginger Thatcher (who works along side of Susan Strohman!) I was the second group set front and center! Did the dance as well as I could hit the tripple pouruette (spelling) and the double tourr! Each group did it twice and then she asked us if we could tumble... To my luck, no one in my group could tumble... SO I whipped out a round-off back hand spring, back tuck... people clapped and cheered, I felt satisfied. Then the dance captain said something to Ginger, and she looked at me and said, "Yay I know he's amazing!" MY HEART JUMPED! She said thank you and began to audition the 20 other men. Only one other kid did a tumbling pass... After we all finished Bob asked us to go to the waiting room and he would meet us there in a minuet. He came and proclaimed that he was calling back men who he felt would fill in spots for the show. TO my surpise my name was called!!!!!!!!! He asked us to line up and prepare a ballad. I was #3 and did my song, and thanked them all. He then came back when everyone was had finished singing,and told us we could all leave and he would call us soon... SO now i am waiting in bated breath for a phone call. I got pass all of the cuts, an 18 year old making in the bussiness... Staying humble, and not thinking about it 24/7... If the phone rings it rings if It dosent, oh well. I know i had a great callback, and the company has seen what I could do. Please be thinking of me in this time... I love you all and will keep you posted!
