Sooooo, this is kind of weird? The boy thinks as he stands up, pulling his blue hood down as he starts to look around the large tend. His eyebrows swoop to give his face an expression of confusion, his hands moving to sit on his hips as he twirls in a circle to get a full view of this place. Kind of odd? He was JUST on his way to go searching for

Sometime since his arrival, Equius has found a bag of candy peanuts. You know, the bright orange marshmallowy things that no one likes? Yeah, them. He sniffs at one cautiously as he wanders along, wrinkling his nose in distaste. "Humans actually ingest this filth? It hardly looks nutritional at all."

He takes a bit out of it anyway, his eyebrow twitching as he chews. "This is horrendous!" He eats another one. "Even worse than I had originally surmised!" And another. "I cannot believe anyone would willingly put something this distasteful into their proteinchute!" And another. "Oh gog, I can't stop. This is utterly delicious, exquisite depravity!"

Oh hey, what's that lovely blue speck floating in the sky? He'll just wander in that direction while stuffing his face with funky carnival food.

"You shouldn't eat those so fast, you'll get sick," John says as the person approaches, he appears to be roughly John's age, but is pretty muscular even at so young. He smiles, putting his silly hammer on his shoulder instead of letting it dangle.

"Could you help me out? I'm looking for my dad. Buuuuuuuut I don't think I'm on Skaia anymore, but there were tents there so..." he shrugs, landing completely now as the wind around him swirls to a halt, pushing dust and dirt away.

"I will eat as fast or slow as I desire," Equius snapps, though strangely enough, he feels obliged to honor the friendly request. He even sulkily holds out the bag in offering. It must be all the blue, coupled with the confident way the pale pink wriggler carries himself.

"You are not on Skia, just as I am no longer in the Veil. I could not begin to offer explanations for our abrupt paradigm shift, here we are none the less."

John will happily take one and eat it, making an odd expression as he chews. Not even in comparison to gushers, but the sugar is nice, been a little bit since he had any. He looks over the boy and notices that he looks like someone he had seen once... But he'll leave it be for now, except for that Veil comment, that he would ask about.

"Oh, wait, Veil? Where are you from?" He smiles slightly, swaying his hammer a little as he speaks.

"Alternia." Now that John's taken his share of the peanuts, Equius will go back to hording them like they were gold. "Yes, I am a troll. No, I am not Karkat. Or Vriska. They are misbehooved peasants, and I'll not have you mistaking me for them."

"Well I'll make sure not to call you either of those names then. So who are you then, mystery troll?"

[bentbowarcher]

"I am Equius Zahhak. I have only made contact with the human Dave, but I have at least made note of your progression through your session. You are John, the leader of your team."

[friendleader]

"I don't know about the leader! I'm more of just a good pal to everyone, we all are important after all! It's nice to meet you, even though it's uh, in where ever we are right now? How long have you been here?"

Everyone important? Ugh, how sentimental. Maybe he had been better off considering Dave the only human worth speaking with.

"I have been here a day." He folds his arms over his chest, tapping one finger on his bicep thoughtfully. "I couldn't say exactly where we are. Yesterday I would have surmised that we are on Gamzee's planet. Now, I am not sure."

[friendleader]

"Gamzee's planet? Hmm, weird. Well I don't know! Even if we were on his planet, how would I be here too? Are there any other trolls here? Or this Gamzee guy?"

[bentbowarcher]

"The Land of Tents and Mirth. He's probably exanimate somewhere, staring at colored lights and ingesting Faygo and Sopor Slime." He waves his hand dismissively. "He's hardly of any concern. I STRONGLY doubt he can cause any trouble in his current state."

"The powers granted by SGRUB are vast and mysterious." Shrug. "However, there are several other factors, such as the absence of imps, to indicate that this is not so. Karkat is here, along with my moirail, Nepeta. There are four of us all together that we have found."

[friendleader]

"Ooohh, okay. Tents and mirth? Faygo? Sopor slime? This guy sounds pretty silly to me, but I can't wait to meet all you guys! I've met uhh, you, Karkat, and Nepeta though! Karkat didn't seem horrible in person, but we've become friends after so long anyways." John smiled and looked around a little, soon looking back to Equius.

"All right, so why don't we go have a look around? Maybe we can find out more about this weird place? I saw a Ferris Wheel!"

"He is ridiculous," Equius agrees, tilting his head to the side and shrugging one shoulder. He's disinclined to agree about Karkat, but he's not going to argue about it. He does that enough with Nepeta already.

"A ferris what?"

[friendleader]

"You don't know what a Ferris Wheel is?!"

[bentbowarcher]

Yeeaaah. This'll be a blank stare sent in your direction, John. "What little I know of human culture has been gleaned from watching the lives of you four children unfold across Trollian. And I hardly paid any attention to your life in particular."

"Aww, well that's okay, the others are pretty awesome too. To bad you did not watch me though, you could have learned all about the best human movies ever created!"
