I just got a call from a collections agency, not for me mind you, for the receptionist here. This isn't the first one either, I have no idea what she does when she answers the phone to them, but it is hell of awkward now as I have answered the phone to these guys five or six times in the past fortnight

Money is weird like that. No point saving if you're not saving for/towards a concrete goal. It just won't work. Money in the bank doesn't really do anything, so why not spend it?
