Marylanders!
In honor of actually having a place to live that isn't my parents' house, I'm throwing a shindig at my apartment this Saturday, August 16. Expect some video games (Rock Band and Mario Kart Wii will both be making an appearance), some food (I'll be baking pizza, since it's been a while since I last did that), maybe a movie if people are in the mood, and some chill hanging out. zaling will be there as well, of course, since she lives there and all, as will my other flatmate whom most of you don't know. Things will probably get started around 18 (6 PM to you 12-hour folks) or so, though if you want to hang with us while we prepare, you can come over earlier (no earlier than 14, though, please!). If you're interested in coming, comment or email and I'll send you directions. If you're interested in drinking, please bring either some alcohol or some money. And if you feel like bringing other partyables (snacks, food, games of the video or non- varieties) be my guest, though you might want to let me know to make sure you're not duplicating.
And if you can't make it this Saturday, don't worry, I plan on throwing an actual bash here at some point over the next couple months, with more advance notice, better planning, and fewer parenthetical statements. I do hope you can come this Saturday, though, it should be awesome!
