I downloaded the "erotic" audiobook ' Bound:Julia's Burning' because it was free and it promised sexy Firemen.
I also thought it might be a good idea to try out some heterosexual erotica for a change.
Oh dear.
I actually had to turn it off half way through. The plot was cliched, the characters were boring, and the reader was awful. She kept trying to emphasise the sexy moments by using a "sexy voice" which instead sounded half camp and half creepy.
Oh and there was surprise!Twincest.
I'm not squicked by Twincest per say - but I do like to be warned beforehand.
Obviously I've been spending to much time in Fandom because I just assumed there would be some sort of heads up or warning that the book contained two brothers fucking our heroine.
Oh and I'm not sure whether I misheard but it sounds like one of the brothers says "Look at them firm TEATS". Which is just... so incredibly unsexy.
