Yep, thats right. PEE!! That was what was on the mind of every single member of the Air Force yesterday. Apparently some incredibly stupid asses were selling drugs in their dorms, or at least one. I've also heard that 6 people have been randomly tested positive since the end of exodus. Aarrgghh!! So the commander decrees, ALL shall be tested this day. So yesterday we had a planned "Commanders Call" which turned into this thing. I learned about the true nature of it late in th school day, but many unlucky ones only learned when they arrived. Many thought it was bad enough luck to have a commanders call on Friday afternoon, postponing their fun and enjoyment to later in the day. LITTLE DID THEY KNOW. I finished at 1am. Now, I am 5th phase, as in I have attained the highest phase and was in the group that went first after the prior service Air Force, or those not training for their job like I am. They finished around 8pm. Then because of admitted stupidity, it look until 11pm to really start up again. Then it was 12 before I actually saw the line moving and 1 when I was peeing in a cup. Luckily my wife was ahead of me by only 5 minutes. Others weren't so lucky. We know of one couple wherein the wife was done at 8:30 because she had been randomly grabbed while she was in the line just to use the toilet. They finished her, but her husband had to wait. When I leaved at 1 he was still in line. Others have very pregnant wives at home, and they still didn't get luckily picked until after 10. But those of us done at that time weren't the unlucky ones. Those in phases 1-3, or having been here for under 6 months, were up in the dorms sleeping in the hallways waiting for their turn to pee in a cup. We are all interested who the idiots are that created this mess by selling and using on post anyway. Its also the morbid curiosity of who gets caught by this big test and loses their career. Thats what happens when you test positive for a controlled substance. Goodbye, hello jail time, and hello felony on your record. Your life screwed because you were dumb enough to do this stuff here and now of all places in your life. Oi. Anyway, I went through it with a smile, unlike many, because I knew that this was just one of those things that the military does, and you just have to live with it and smile. It sucks, but I am the one stupid enough to join. Well, not stupid. For like I have said, if not for joining, I would not have met the woman of my dreams. Sigh.
