I'm very pleased with myself. I've gotten everything done that needs to be done for the end of the year! At work: completed insurance paperwork so that I have my camera for January, submitted receipts and grades for my tuition reimbursement and finally got Toys for Tots picked up! The Marines were supposed to be here Thursday but got delayed by snow on Wednesday. It took them three whole days to recover. That's crazy! But either way, kids get some cool toys.
Also have stuff ready for my boss when she comes back from vacation.
I even started cleaning the house from top to bottom. I realized the guy I'm seeing is much neater than I am, so I wanted to start to get things under control again. I mean, when he makes the bed before he leaves, it's a sign that I have to get my housekeeping back on track. I have the floors done, need to do countertops and vacuum.
I need to get all this done now, because I'm doing a lot of travel in the next few weeks. I'll be in Chicago again the 29th-4th, and will be seeing
Beknatok when I arrive! Yay! The rest of the week will be spent with friends and family, including my new niece Sophia.
The other big news is that I'm going to Vienna for a week. My guy is going for work, setting up a network for their European office, and is staying an extra week afterwards. He invited me to go along! So I'm psyched for sausage, bread, chocolate, tea and a side trip to Budapest!
