And yeah, the Varietease show is going to awesome. I know Lizzy's doing trapeze burlesque, and I think the Dolls of Doom *might* also be doing some sort of aerial burlesque (if not, it'll be crazy acrobatic.) And KC and Jolie are doing a tribal fusion duet. And Tamale's spinning fire. And we're doing robot+hoop burlesque! Seriously, it's going to be so worth the $15.
Oh man! I knew a few of those but not all, that's really awesome! :) I'm excited! Do you think it'll sell out, that I should get my tickets before or can I wait till the door?
I think you're fine waiting- they're actually a little worried about not getting a big enough audience, because apparently the Lakeshore usually holds like 200 tickets to give away (their "you've won 10 free tickets!" promotion), but this time they're not doing that. So that's like 200 extra tickets that they don't normally have to worry about selling.
Ohhhhh yeah. I didn't know the specifics, but I knew my friend was always getting us free tickets to comedy shows there and I heard something about that. I need to sign up for that...that's what you sign up for when you fill out those little cards right?
Well that sucks about the extra 200 tickets. I'm trying to get Tina to come with me cuz I know she'd really enjoy the show, but it's going to be a busy day for her I guess so she's not totally sure...she's down for the Bayou again though! Your fan club will be cheering! :)
I think I can make it to both of those. I'd love to see this one on Friday but Mark's folks are gonna be in town. I hope you get video!!
