Let the holidays begin!
The family took the magical trek to NYC Sunday to go see...
I can now check it off our bucket list. In the final number the strap broke on one of the dancer's shoes and she fell. Quite the gasp heard in the auditorium. We parked in Secaucus and took the train into Penn station and grabbed a couple cabs to the show.
My sister had bought the tickets through Living Social so it included the backstage tour. The tour was interesting and included meeting a real live Rockette. Little fact to share.....an offical Rockette can not do the Rockette kick alone. There is a requirement for a minimal number of dancers before they can do the dance.
My sister Patricia found two free drink and popcorn coupons on the floor so of course they got used by this group. She found them on the floor after our show.
My sister Kimberly has a new obsession. Costumes. She has started to attend Comic Con like events. Sequins are her drug of choice right now. Seeing all the backstage costumes put her on a new high. lol
Speaking of sequins, the Project Runway Rockette costumes were on display down in the lower lobby.
