The First Day of The Rest of My Life
Today is ELECTION DAY!!! This is the first election I have ever been able to participate in. Right now Kerry is ahead by 11 electoral votes. Of course, I am NOT getting cocky. I'm worried as hell. Of course freakin' FLORIDA has to say they won't have the absentee ballots counted until FREAKIN' THURSDAY! AGLSHRKLAJFLSHDVFFFFFFF!!!!
I'm also the black sheep in my family for voting for Kerry. My mom and I argued with each other a little bit over it, but she soon got over the fact that I'm a Kerry fan. I should have lied! Just kidding. It feels good having the truth out there and having her still love me!
It's also Jessica, my sister's birthday. She turned 25 today. I got her a little tree necklace...what's the deal with all these tree necklaces I've been buying?! Anyway, she loved it. I also got her this little scented trivet with little coffee cups on the material. I picked out a pink purse and a necklace with dark pink, light pink and white rhinestones in it. I helped mom and dad pick out an outfit for her that was pink, white and black. She's into fashionable things and pink is fashionable now, so she will be happy about it I'm sure. She didn't open her presents from my parents while I was around, so I can't wait to hear from her about it. Oh! They also got her some superman pajama's to match her son's. Cute!
I came up with a plan of study AND registered for my classes at UAH. Exciting! I only need 2 more art classes, though I will take more coupled with the art history credits I have to have. I think I will also take French later. Turns out that everything in art is in French...and I can't pronounce most of it. I'm not so bad that I pronounce Renoir or Manet incorrectly, but I should know how to read and pronounce things.
Ugh. I also put on the last color of my print...and ruined every single last one of my prints. Bad thing about color reduction prints...you can't go back and fix it or reprint. So, I think I'll just have to do another one basically. Don't know when. Don't know how. So...I cried. Then I rented some movies. Watched one of them called "Pathfinder." Very different. Nordic myth. Can't speak in complete sentences.
