so my uncle had an eight hour operation on his brain last week. they went in to drain two cysts that he had & were able to remove 20% of his tumor. this was mostly to remove a lot of the pressure on his brain that was incapacitating one side of his body. he is recovering well from the surgery. but the biopsy came back & it is definitely cancer. he will be starting radiation in about two weeks. thank goodness he is a stubborn bastard & wants to kick the hell out of this thing.

i cannot have this beat him. i cannot watch my mom lose her other brother.

all i can do is be hopeful & rely on the rest of my family & my uncle's strength to get past this.
