I finally read in fiction. My story made no sense. They told me as much. I smiled and nodded and tried not to look out the window.
My ETS class is full of whiny girls who say "like" a whole lot and leave their mouths open for awhile after they're done speaking, as though they're not entirely sure how to shut up. Also, the TA followed me out the door only to politely ask if I'd been ditching the class. I should have said, "I wish" but instead, I just stared and said, "Yeah. I mean, I spoke." I don't think she believed me, even though I had been sitting directly in her line of sight.
I walked to get coffee. It is freezing. I just checked my e-mail and saw that the Feature editor had e-mailed asking for my article. When she assigned it to me, she had just given a link to the event page that gave the time and place. I assumed this meant I was to go to it and report back. No. Apparently, I was to write a preview by tonight, though the word was never used in her e-mails.
I have a lot to read for Russian Revolution. I have to finish CollegeApp. I have to write a report for my Bio lab.
I was so sad today, even a waffle did not cheer me up.
