In a past life my truck was a 1969 Ford Ranger F-100; I came across it when I was fifteen. At the time, it looked like this:
They guy that owned the scrapyard owed Naze a favor and I guess Naze thought the project would help me work off my interest in machines or whatever, because he went along with my restoring it.
So this is what it looks like now:
One of these days I plan to pull the D off the front and get a G-E to replace it, because honestly there's not much under the surface that the Ford Motor Company would recognize anymore. That's down the list of projects a ways, though. Next thing I want to do is pull the fuel system apart and convert it to a cleaner energy source -- still trying to decide which one (kind of makes me wish I was an intuitive chemist, too, but you can't have everything).
