WHY YOU EAT UP MY POST! ROAR.
Maybe it's love, love at first slightly drunk.
That line was stuck in my head the whole train ride home. After all, I was high / happy enough to be drunk.
Thanks to: Marcus and the seniors being nice and letting us move up from the end of the autograph queue line to near the front, and Li Ann's brilliant idea about Calendar Girls, I got my 2009 planner signed. Torquil signed XO TORQ and Evan wrote SING SING but the rest are kind of undecipherable but :D :D :D It's like this year is actually starting proper, haha.
Also, can't believe Melly (?) asked Torq to sing Tonight during the autograph session and he actually did! Wish we had taken photos with the band though. But Li Ann, Amandas and Yina were spamming photos throughout so, yes! Enough visual aid to trigger a bout of hyperventilating, !!! , "STARS WAS AWESOME!"
The performance:
Starting with The Night Starts Here got everyone hyped up and standing moving grooving singing, which was great.
Ending with One More Night was just <3
They sound REALLY GOOD LIVE! I wanted to record the entire thing. Now, hearing their songs on iTunes pales in comparison D:
And Amy and Torq have such lovely harmonious voices it's just asfdkjv like a drug. And we had a great view of the stage :D
I wonder why they cut out Violent though.
Li Ann, Melly and Yina all caught roses! Sort of. Stars kept throwing them while singing/playing. And Torq did all the weird entertaining things and moving around (D.ITN we need to learn this spontaneity.) And when he walked on all the Esplanade chairs! and stopped the row before us ah! YAY CONCERT HIGH LOVE LOVE LOVE. It was worth every cent!
okay claire, you had your concert fix now start being a good student, for once.
Stuck on the wall the note that you left. (I hope the cleaner aunties didn't take away every single post it we left behind.)
