Like Heaven and Hell: Tanya Ashbury
Hi, my name is Tanya Ashbury, and my contribution to Like: Heaven and Hell is called, "Messengers."
I had a friend link me to Circlet Press and I followed their blog for a while before I got up the nerve to submit to one of their calls for story submissions. Before now, the erotica I've written has been for private audiences, and I am just thrilled to have my story included in this fantastic anthology.
I found the topic of angels and demons to be delightfully broad in some ways, and surprisingly restrictive in others. Most cultures have some sort of demon, but once you use the word "Angel," you are talking about something much more specific.
Now, of course, my head is full of other ways to approach the term. How much fun would it be to write a sexy exploration of how many angles can fit on the head of a pin? Can anyone think of other angel based sayings, phrases, or metaphors? From non Western cultures?
