So Johnny Tamborine is walking down the street...

Ah, Valentine's Day. A reason for 40% of the American population to be jumping with gayness at the fact they have a loved one to spend the day with and a reason for the other 60% to slit their wrists and cry about how much they hate their life at the moment. In all reality, it's a day to make people with no social life or friends to either be reminded of how much they hate their life, or how much people really care about them. I just wish people would cut the "Oh, it's Valentine's Day... so that means I have to buy flowers or candy or something nice for the person I love" crap. What I hate is the fact that people need to wait until some sort of special occacion to show someone how much you care. Is this really necessary? Come on. Do it when he or she isn't expecting it at all. From my experience, I've noticed that THAT is when they appreciate it the most. That's why you'll hardly EVER see me give you anything on this day. If you really want to express your love to someone, why not do it when you're not prompted to do so by society? Why would you ever wait until someone dies to send them flowers? That has never made any sense at all to me. If you die, the most I would do is show  up to the funeral out of respect. My sincere appologizes to anyone who has lost anyone recently, btw. I'm only proving a point.

I did, however, spend most of my day with my mom. (Which was cool) I hardly ever hang out with her, so I enjoyed being able to just drive around and do that whole "mother-son" thing we never got to do when I was younger. We bought some candy and cards to fix for Andrew's V-Day party at school, and then headed to Chipotle to grab some awesome Mexican goodness. Went to the school to drop off the candy for Andrew, waited for him to get out, and then headed to the movies. The three of us. Had a great time at the theatre. Although the best part was when we got out. Seems as though mother nature crept up on us and let out a huge thunder storm as we got out of the movie. It was great. Rain, hale, thunder, and lightning. :D

The rest of my day is now a vague memory. Seeing as how nothing productive or important happened after that. I did, schedule an installation date with COX Cummunications, though. Looks like I'm finally getting my cable internet installed tomorrow. *jumps for joy seeing how it's my day off*

I've had alot of things running through my head lately. Future plans, things from the past, and stuff I need to get done in the near future.

I'm off to bed now. Hope everyone had a great day.
