Orochimaru waited in the gloom of the study doorway. He had requested Sasuke meet him here for their session this evening. He wondered if the boy would keep him waiting tonight, for he had many things he wanted to cover in darkness. These night practices were very nearly an excuse to watch the Sharingan operate in total blackness, but he assured himself the lessons were practical, too. Still, the boy’s eyes were amazing to him.
He leaned against the door post and exhaled slowly, closing his eyes in annoyance. Where was that boy? He wanted to begin.
