YAY - Scrivener
OMG! Scrivener is exactly the program I've always dreamed I had and didn't know existed. It's only for Mac, though (thought I'd mention that). It's a superb way to structure writing, ideas and stuff like that, both in fiction and academic papers and whatnot. This makes my scatterbrained self extremely happy. It lets you work on two documents simultaneously, it has a research section where you can drop and drag all kinds of shit to. You can tag, bag, and label the whole shebang. There's cork board with index cards. It It makes me lose my grammar right now since I'm so excited.
Seriously, it's fantastic for someone like me who is simultaneously a control freak and has the attention span of a squirrel. How did I get through my BA without this? I'm pretty sure this is something that'll help me with my Master's Degree, and keep me at least somewhat focused. It's fun!
