Glad I Live in the Mountains

We have had nowhere near the heat the rest of the country has. If you ever watch the Weather Channel and look at the very Western part of NC, you will see a beautiful dip of a different color that indicates that it is at least 10 degrees cooler than anywhere else in the Mid Atlantic or South. And while we can have some frequent ferocious winds, more than not, they are welcome. Usually anywhere you go that is more than 40 minutes from here is at least 10 degrees hotter. So we probably had 3 days that were uncomfortable without a/c. Most homes around here dont have it but I lucked out when I bought this.

I joined Points which is a point exchange program. Its free and with it you can gift points and swap points etc. So if anyone has anything that is a reward program that they dont care about, please take a look....I would be so happy to take any donation. Also, Enchy, I think you can donate the Alaska and the US Air through them, either into my Delta or NW. They also do things like Priority Club and the like. I'm starting more and more to think about driving out there but I am scared I'll get sick and I know Devon doesn't know how to help with camping and the like. I would look at joining http://www.usservas.org/ (Servas) but my home is not nice or big enough to entertain in. I swear my LJ link cut thing isnt working or else my short term memory has made it vanish. Oh well.....

You know....I just annoy people and I dont know why. I dont annoy strangers or anything like that, but I think my brother, my daughter, and my ex, sometimes wish I would just disappear
