Book Signing (reprint from Blogger)
The book signing at Cincinnati State College went extremely well! All the books sold out and orders were taken to be filled later. This makes up for the disappointing signing last week at Sitwell's. I'm not sure if it was the rain that kept customers at home or if it was just a bad location for a children's book signing.
Don't get me wrong: the coffee at Sitwell's is great and it's a wonderful place to write (it's where I actually wrote most of the Clarence manuscript) but it doesn't seem to be the right place to sell children's books. But given the wonderful response at Cincinnati State, I am no longer discouraged. As soon as I get more books from my publisher I'll schedule more signings.
Look for me at Northern KY / Greater Cincinnati area bookstores soon! I plan to do a major signing tour this summer. Right now I have to get to class . . .
