Wow. That was amazing!
Beautifully written and the level of detail!
I love that Holmes is babbling to a skeptical Watson, and that he fails to dispel Watson's confusion.
I can't wait to see what happens next!

Ooh, I love this too! Another great mystery with the lovely pair of Holmes/Watson! I'd love to read more whenever you do update. It sounds like Holmes has some nasty demons on his trail. I wonder if Watson will be forced to believe Holmes once they leave the train, since I'm guessing it won't be in the usual way. ;-)

OMG you are evil! More, please!! I really like this idea, Sherlock as a demon! Of course, my absolute favorite is this:

“You will answer me,” I say sternly. “Have you, or have you not, ever contemplated eating my soul?”

Holmes has the absolutely audacity to look astonished. “Have you even been listening? Of course I have. I still do, on occasion, when my resolve to keep you hale weakens.
