I am currently googling mold, because I was stupid enough to make Ally a mycologist. Ew.

(Although it does tempt me to include Alien Sex Mold. But, um, no.)

omg omg omg did I mention the part where mycology was my second choice for careers? Before I realized that I am bad at science.

(Alien sex mold is awesome?)

. . . wow, really? Weird. You and Ally would apparently get along, were she not, you know, fictional. :)

My second choice for career--well, I guess I'm on my second choice for career. But my hypothetical second choice for career, back during high school/undergrad was foreign languages. (Which probably means I should write more Uhura.)

(I have changed the draft name of the document to alien_sex_mold. I was not going to include alien sex mold--I was going to include mold that was just giving people what looked like a URI--but I may make it Alien Sex Mold instead.)

I mean, I like you and all, but when did you decide you wanted to win Best Supporting Character for the Epic Ally/Dana Backstory?

Personally, I admit that I wrote Boyce a LOT MORE when I picture him played by Mark Harmon in AOS, instead of Grampa from Gimmie A Break from "The Cage".

i am a horrible fangirl.

Um. Yes.

Also, from a less Mark-Harmon-is-hot POV, it's much easier because now I have a whole set of mannerisms to steal from NCIS work with, rather than trying to invent a Boyce based on, um, like 5 mins total of screentime in "The Cage."

"No, I shot you full of tiny robots on a whim," remains my favourite line of Boyce dialogue I have written ever in the history of ever. Plus, Cait Barry is a redhead... ;)

That line? Is pure gold.

Cait/Phil (or lady!Phil) is yet another entry on my long list of tiny!ships I adore. :-D
