yay! i'm starting the book of I Corinthians today!!!
SERIOUSLY, READ THE BOOK OF ROMANS...that one is DEFINATELY added to my favorites list. kinda sad that i don't get to update this baby that much :(. work at the church has been going great...i'm kinda dreading the end of summer tho...it will be an end to one of the greatest seasons the Lord has blessed me with. ministry is SUCH a blessing, and the staff He has allowed me to work with has been amazing also. it's kinda weird, all my life i have been ready to move to a 3rd world country and serve the Lord as a ministry, but lately the Lord has REALLY been opening my heart to the ministry that exists here. Sunday i was talking to a jr highers about some stuff. there were these two boys that i had seen once before and noticed that they seemed a little distracted, probably because they were trying to KILL eachother during the service, but on sunday John azsked us to divide into groups and they came to mine. one of them kept asking MILLIONS of questions like "IF YOU SMOKE WEED WILL YOU GO TO HELL?" or "IF YOU LISTEN TO BAD MUSIC WILL YOU GO TO HELL?" and he was telling about how he has to take vicadin daily and how he got caught by the cops with weed on him and how he's home schooled now because he got kicked out of school for fighting. my heart ached, i thought ALL THIS FROM THE MIND OF AN 11 YR OLD? i explained to him that we shouldn't want to do things that damage the bodies God has given us like using drugs, and that music can have a direct effect on our moods and attitudes so we should be careful what we put int our minds. after the service was over the two boys stayed in my mind and as you can see my thoughts are still with them. so young and so exposed to the wickedness of this world. i wanted to adopt them, to take them out of the harsh environment that they had been exposed to, my heart was filled with sadness. BUT i lifted them up in prayer to Lord, and i know that He has a plan for each of there lives. i prayed that if it was His will that He would continue to bring the two back to our church, i know that they had great hearts deep down.
thank you Jesus for the people you purposely place in our lives.
this sunday we leave for jr high summer camp! woohoo! it's also my b-day :)
jac and kris took me out last friday for it. they made me wear a crown and a hot pink boa. lol. good times. we went down to old town in san diego and this drunk lady yelled out HAIL TO THE QUEEN!! HAIL TO THE QUEEN!! me and jacs laughed hysterically and began to walk FASTER. we ate at this cute lil mexi restaurant where i ordered a $4.50 drink called a hummingbird which was supposed to be like a smoothie thing, but needless to say it WASN'T worth almost 5 bucks, the best part was the whipped cream and cherry :) we walked around through the little town admiring the expensive tourist shops and we walked through a graveyard from the eighteen hundreds. me and jac laughed about how fun it would be if we dressed all in white and walked around like ghosts, YEAH WE'RE DORKS, then kris said yeah that be funny if you guys were WITCHES (VERY very sarcastically), it was funny though cause she wouldn't step foot in it. ...chicken...hehe <3.
school starts the 23rd.

ok i'm good now. 18 units this semester.

i can't wait to be DONE with school so i can go to Bible College...Lord willing!!! :)
