i'm really happy with both my cameras. the nikons have a lot of useful modes/features and they're really user-friendly- at least in my opinion. i wish i could lend you mine for you to try!

My camera's a Nikon Coolpix 4300 and I love it to death. The Nikon Coolpix series is amazing!

i love the coolpix series sooo much! i WISH i could afford the 8100! or better yet the new nikon F70- that's my dream!

i got nikon coolpix 5200!
i duno, it doesnt focus that much for me which annoys me hell loads!

maybe you need to mess around with the settings more? i notice mine has focusing issues sometimes too- but then i just try other settings and sometimes that helps.

I have a Nikon Coolpix 2200. I love it. It goes almost everywhere with me.
