His right hand worked on the keyboard of the laptop while his other held a cup of coffee. Languidly, he sat staring at the screen somewhat blankly for the longest time before setting the cup down with a sigh and shutting the computer. He silently checked the time-9:53 p.m.-before checking the clip in the pistol beside his wireless mouse.
He reopened the laptop once more to peer at it, receiving a digitally voiced message. “Kim Hyunjoong,” the rather robotic voice spoke, “your next target is a young man. Age 24. Height, 185 centimeters. Approximately 65 kilograms in weight. Name, Park Jungmin.”
Hyunjoong tapped a key on the keyboard, the information appearing before him. He eyed the data and then minimized it.
“There is a deadline of one week. The target is wanted alive.”
Hyunjoong’s eyes flickered to the screen again upon hearing the word ‘alive’ spoken through the speakers. “Accepted,” he muttered finally, closing the laptop.
