So for Halloween I was a lesbian feminist folk singer, who had dreads and wore brightly colored bras under see through tops. I was Bitch from the former band, Bitch and Animal. It was fun the dread part was frustrating and took forever to do but came out rather cute.
Update on dad. They are doing a double surgery this coming Thursday time to be decided. dad is having a double surgery a colonoscopy and then removal of the cancer followed by a skin graft...that's what i call a bad fucking day. Because of his heart they want to combine the two, apparently the anesthetic is very bad with all his other conditions. They set it up so dad only had to come up with 250 dollars to have the surgery, and sort of forgave the rest of it if I'm understanding correctly. The surgery was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but I guess there's a change I set everything up so I could come home after voting early Tuesday morning. So since the whole point is to be there in case anything goes wrong, I'll stay for my classes til 2 on tues then drive down and come back up thurs after the surgery or early friday morning. I have to be here for the mandatory orientation for Prague. 1:30- 5 pm.
I'm no longer filled with doubt, anger, and tears about the whole thing. I have an amazing group of women here and they helped me address several of the things that have had me fairly upset and discover why they affect me the way they have been.
