(no subject)
Well, it is officially the time of the year that I'm completely broke. Christmas is in the air.
I got promoted to hiring manager a few months back, so I work full time now and get paid a lot more. With the extra hours and pay I'm averaging 3x more per week than I was before. Not too shabby. I never thought hiring people would be so stressful though. It can be very demanding having to have 10 people brought on in only a few days. Going through applications, setting up the interview, waiting on the background checks, orientation, etc. Enough about work.
Gabe is in kindergarten this year, he started in July. He goes to Roger Bacon Academy, a charter school here. He likes it a lot. He's doing great in math and in general at school, but still having trouble with his speech. He's going to speech class and he's really excited about it. He has lost two teeth so far, the bottom front.
Julian is doing great, finally walking. He's known how for a while but would get embarrassed and sit back down when someone looked at him. He's still crawling a lot on his hands and feet. He has 8 teeth with 2 more breaking through. I stopped nursing at the end of September when I had to go to Charlotte for a conference and couldn't bring him. He didn't even seem to care and drinks lots of whole milk now. He loves cheerios. There really isn't anything he doesn't like. He eats what everyone else eats for the most part. He blows the best kisses and has started to wave and clap his hands. We play peekaboo and he loves his toys. He's starting to let me know when he needs his diaper changed. Some of the words he says constantly are:

Hey der (Hey there)
No (shaking his head)

Yes
Nana
Buhbuhbuh (no meaning)
I stopped playing WoW. The server I was playing on was just too dead, and made it depressing to log on at night. No one was raiding on the server and I wasn't really willing to spend 25 dollars to transfer my character. Watching lots of stuff on TV this year, thank God for DVR.

I logged into Neopets the other day and Gabe talked me into getting a squid hat for my jubjub. Its cute. He's playing my account now, and I'm playing games when I'm bored, but I'm not about to get sucked back into the whole guild thing and message boards and trading and whatnot. It would be cool to keep with the gourmet club, but I really don't care.
And in case anyone is wondering, I've been lurking for months, just too give out to post an entry. I've read all of everyones entries, sorry for not commenting.
