Baby Registry

So I was going to email announcements for my baby registries just now and came up with a list of 5 people. Out of both friends AND family. Some of my family is seriously behind on the times, but anyway. I feel really uncomfortable and unsure of what to write as the personal message, because I don't want anyone to think that I'm like "Hey, buy me stuff!" but at the same time I can't think of anything personal that applies to everyone on the list and don't want to bother with emailing everyone individually. Babies'R'Us has a premade message, but the one for Wal-Mart is el blanco. Suggestions? I'll probably disregard this and email a blank copy anyway in 5 minutes.

EDIT: I decided to just use the space to tell about the theme and colors we'd like to use.
