(no subject)
Long time no talk, yeah… as my cousin would say. Gosh, if LJ
was a baby and I its mommy, it would have died a long time ago. Well… not too much has been happening to me so
I’m using that as a feeble excuse… a very feeble excuse.
Actually a few things have happened to me. I got a tablet!!!!! Wheeeeeeee! I love it and all the software it came with! It’s a bit awkward yet, but I’m getting used to it. It feels weird drawing and not looking down to see what I’ve done. I’ve done a couple of things. I can’t, however, post them here b/c I don’t have a place to stream them from. I’m thinking of getting a photobucket account but I’m still not sure.
Other than that, I’ve seen Corpse Bride, which I loved! I saw when it first came out and again with a friend. I don’t think that it’s on the same level as Nightmare, but then again… what is? I felt that CB didn’t have as much character development and that the songs weren’t as well done. Like, in Nightmare when Sally sings her beautiful solo and your heart melts, I didn’t get that so much from CB.
I’ve also discovered Wicked, the musical (I read the book 4 years ago). Anyways, I love that soundtrack with a fiery passion. When Nessarose and Boq sing in Dancing Through Life, it makes me want to cry. Yes, yes, I know I’m a baby. Ohhhh… but it’s so tragic. Unfortunately, it’s not visiting CA for, like, another year, so… I’ll be waiting.
On a completely different note, I think that I made this post far too long, and I also think I’m going to make this a friends’ only journal. I guess I’m paranoid about someone I know in “real life” finding this, b/c I’ve found LJ’s of people I know in “real life”
